AV研究所 Preservation Association Highlights NFA Artists and AV研究所 Landmarks
The hosted a photography exhibit that showcased the talents of NFA’s student photographers as well as the City of AV研究所’s rich architectural and landscape heritage, creating a treasure hunt throughout the community for exhibit visitors. All AV研究所 Free Academy students were invited to submit photos for this exhibit, sponsored by the AV研究所 Preservation Association (NPA) whose mission is to promote the preservation of AV研究所’s architectural and landscape heritage.
Too often we focus on AV研究所’s grittiness, but AV研究所’s built and natural environment is filled with beauty. The NPA hopes students will discover and explore this beauty so that they will appreciate and promote the city’s extraordinary architectural and landscape heritage and teach exhibit visitors to join them in this mission.
Students submitted a color or black & white photo. Each photo included an identifiable example of AV研究所’s architectural and/or landscape heritage. The collection of photos were labeled with a sticker to indicate the municipality it was taken. Each exhibit visitor was challenged with guessing the exact location.
During the reception, students received framed certificates of participation and showed off their photos. One student sold two photos on the spot!
